My story

DOB 5/15/24 Flash is energetic, alert, and speedy, like a bolt of lightning, he can appear in an instant, chasing a toy or pouncing on one of his siblings. He is named after the shape of his tail which is bent at the end like a ray of lightning. Flash's favorite activities are tag, chasing plastic cat springs, wrestling, hide and seek, and catching flies. He will sing for his supper and purr or pets. Flash is an active and sweet boy who will brighten your days and nights. When Flash settles down, he loves cuddles and being held. He will curl up in a lap or on a pillow next to a human or with his siblings. Flash sleeps at the foot of the bed and will play with wiggly toes. He will do well in any type of home with other animals and kids. Flash is particularly fond of his brother Mickey and needs to be adopted with him. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Flash (bonded with Mickey), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
