Maple

My story

Maple is sweet as syrup! This charming, laid-back boy enjoys relaxing in sunny spots and getting gentle affection, and his calm nature makes him a wonderful companion.  We often find him relaxing in front of the fireplace, just minding his own business and looking handsome. ♥. He also looks after the other cats and kittens and likes to cuddle with them.   Maple has been with us for awhile, which is a little sad given how sweet and deserving he is of a loving #fureverhome where he can thrive and bring quiet joy to his forever family   He hasn’t been around dogs enough for us to confirm if he would be good in a home with a dog, but he did seem intrigued by a doggie we had visit us recently and we suspect he would do great!  Sweet Maple is FIV-positive but otherwise perfectly healthy with no current health concerns.  Please note that FIV is not contagious to humans or other animal species and can only be spread from cat to cat through deep bite wounds (Maple was likely bitten when he was a stray).  Many FIV-positive cats live long, healthy lives - especially in low-stress, indoor-only homes.  They can even life safely with non-infected cats if they are non-aggressive (like this lovely boy!).   ##2197603##
