My story

Dobby is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Dobby is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - On a special diet to help with food sensitivities More about Dobby: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: He has done well with free roam when home alone, for up to 8 hours. Leash walking: He has shown reactivity toward other dogs and small critters on walks, but has been easy to redirect. Dog social: He would be happiest as the only dog in the home, due to resource guarding behaviors Cat social: He lived with cats in his prior home and did well with them, after a slow intro period. Kid friendly: He has done well with kids 8+, but is not a match for younger kids due to resource guarding Dobby likes: - Playing fetch and tug - Using his brain to work on puzzle toys and positive reinforcement training - Going for sniff walks Dobby adapts easily and is very well trained, responsive, smart, and fun. He loves playing and using his noggin, and is easily able to keep himself entertained. He can be left alone free roam for at least 8 hours, and sleeps most of the time. He has good energy and is light on his feet, and he quickly and easily learns new tricks. He has shown some resource guarding behaviors so will do best in a home without small kids or other dogs, but he has done well living with cats. Dobby's adoption fee is $300, and he is excited to find his forever home!
