My story

Requirements: another dog in the home and people able to allow her regular potty-breaks and exercise. Louise “Weezy” is a 10-12 week old, 10 pound female pup who found herself with little to no exposure to people prior to being dropped at an overcrowded shelter. Along with her sister Tootsie, Weezy has started to trust and enjoy people given the ever rotating groups of friends and neighbors loving, holding, and playing with her in her foster home, learning from the other dogs in the home that people are good! Weezy has also claimed an oinking pig as her favorite toy! Weezy is crate trained and is making great progress in house training. Her recent walks on a leash with her sister and one of the other foster pups in her home have proven to be successful as Weezy enjoys smelling new smells and walking in the woods and neighborhoods near her foster home. Because Weezy is still a puppy, she will need someone able to let her out every few hours to continue to be fully housebroken. Likewise, Weezy will do best with another dog who can continue to help her develop her self-confidence and “dog skills”. Shy at first, Weezy enjoys belly rubs, hugs, and naps in her foster family members laps. She can be found sunning herself in her fenced yard and chasing toys with the teens in her home. Weezy has yet to lose her puppy teeth so she still does some puppy nipping when she plays, but her foster Mom is thrilled to see how this little nuggets personality has blossomed and how much she loves people. Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350. **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! If you have questions, please email adopt@releashatlanta.com Take a moment and like our Facebook Page for updates on our dogs and the first look at dogs coming into the program! www.facebook.com/releashatlanta Thank you!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Louise, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
