My story

Howdy, folks! My name’s Scooter, and I reckon I’m lookin’ for my forever buddy. I’m ‘bout 2 and a half years old, and I’m still figurin’ things out. When I first got here, I was real shy—didn’t eat much, didn’t play none, just kinda sat back and watched like a little cowboy at his first rodeo. But guess what? Today I ate a whole bowl of grub and played chase with Wally, the other pup here who’s ‘bout my size. We had us a real good time! I ain’t loud or rowdy, I’m more of a quiet lil’ guy who needs a minute to feel safe. But once I do? Shoot, I’ll be your best pal. I get along with other doggos and there’s a 7-year-old human kid here I don’t mind one bit. We just hang out, easy like Sunday mornin’. Folks say I’m sweeter than a biscuit with honey, and I sure do got a gentle heart. I just need someone patient and kind to help me come outta my shell. I promise, once I do, I’ll be scootin’ and boogeyin’ all around your house like a happy lil’ tumbleweed. Wanna be my person?
