My story

Meet Expedition, a shy 22-week-old girl who’s looking for a patient and understanding family to help her feel safe. 🌸 This sweet but reserved girl may take some time to warm up, but once she’s comfortable, you’ll see her gentle, affectionate side. Expedition is a quiet soul who enjoys peaceful, calm spaces and will need a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings. She’s looking for a loving home where she can take things at her own pace, with a family who will offer her the space and patience she needs to thrive. If you think you can offer Expedition the calm, loving environment she deserves, come meet her at the MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center. She’s waiting for the right family to help her begin her next adventure! 🐾For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
