My story

Gunner came to the shelter as a stray on 10/01/2024, and since then, he’s quietly waited, day after day, hoping for someone to choose him. Despite being featured as Pet of the Week, this big, beautiful boy has been passed by too many times. He watches patiently from his kennel, waiting for his person to finally walk through the door.Gunner is selective with other dogs, but with the right introductions, he can be well-mannered and appropriate in the right environment. He simply needs a home that understands his needs and will give him the time and space to adjust. This sweet boy has waited long enough—he deserves to be loved and have a family of his own. Whether through rescue, foster, or adoption, please help us get Gunner into a home where he can thrive. He deserves more than life behind a kennel door—he deserves a chance at happiness.
