Bacon

My story

Bacon is a very sweet dog we have here at the shelter. Once he feels comfortable around you, he will be happy to be your right-hand guy when it comes to anything you may need help with whether it be a tough job around the house, or when you just need to unwind after a long day. We do know that he is not the most comfortable around children, only because he can be protective over his things. While he means no harm by this, of course, we would not want the situation to escalate if he were to be put in said position. While Bacon is a great dog, he does take a little bit of time to feel fully comfortable around new folks that he has not had the time to get to know completely, so you may need to come in and see him a few times, just to make sure that everyone feels good with one another before going home. We would recommend bringing everyone living in the home with you to come and visit. Feel free to stop by and see Bacon anytime Monday through Saturday from 12:00 to 6:00!
