My story

Meet Annie!!!One day in July, a beautiful long-haired gray cat with bright green eyes appeared at dinnertime in an outdoor cat colony in Midtown Detroit. Annie was hungry but cautious. At first she hid behind a brick wall and waited for the colony caretaker to put out food for her. After several weeks she became more trusting and rubbed her head on the caretaker`s hand as she opened a can of Friskies. The caretaker took Annie to a vet to be spayed and vaccinated. The vet determined that she had already been spayed and microchipped. Annie had been someone`s pet! The rescue organization that had first cared for Annie reached out to her adoptive family. No one from the family responded to calls or emails. Annie is now in search of her second forever home.Annie is fortunate to be living in a caring foster home for now. She is a very sweet, affectionate and well-mannered 5-to-6 year old, healthy (FIV and FeLuk negative) and up-to-date on vaccines. She would be a blessing for anyone who is looking for a kitty to become part of their family.
