My story

NUGGET is a brown tabby teenager kitty with dramatic stripes on his legs and tail. He is a charming, smart and energetic teenager who likes to be at the center of attention. Nugget enjoys morning cuddles in bed, lap time in the evenings and warming feet overnight. He loves to chase any wand toy offered, and he will play with a wide variety of toys on his own. Nugget is highly intelligent and will work for interactive play. He quickly learned to "boop" a finger with his nose and give high fives. Nugget likes to follow people around and can get underfoot at times. Nugget will likely take some time to warm up in a new home, but he is easily brought out of his shell with playtime and treats. Once he gets comfortable, you will be rewarded with a sweet boy who will become your devoted companion for life! Nugget is looking for a home with a quieter family who can engage his curious and smart nature Nugget has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Nugget in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
