My story

DOB: Aug 16, 2016 Casper is very shy at first, the first few days we had him in foster care he did nothing but hide under the bed. Once he got comfortable he came out and slowly warmed up to us. He’s been the sweetest pie ever since. He loves being pet and gives tons of head bumps! He’s quite chatty but not loud, he just likes to have conversations with you when you’re home. He is a slowly but surely kind of guy, he is a bit slow to warm up to you but once he does he will make you his whole world. He loves his scratching posts!!! Please make sure you have multiple surfaces he can use to scratch and rub up against. He loves to rub his face on you and sometimes will give a little play bite when he’s overly excited. He does get the midnight zoomies and will always leave you a little toy at the end of your bed when you wake up in the morning. He loves to talk to you while you’re walking around and enjoys when you meow back! Loves playing with hair ties, will keep him occupied for hours! Also lowkey knows how to sit when you hold a treat to him and say “sit!” Casper was found in an apartment after the owner had sadly passed away. Some quick Casper notes: -Recent dental work, loves wet food and dry food! -Scratching posts!!! (He will scratch at the couch or anything he can get his paws on) -Occasionally jumps up on high surfaces -Will poop on the floor if he’s mad about something! Capser is a big “sit beside you” kinda cat rather than a lay right on top of you, but is super cozy and loves cuddles. Not a huge fan of being picked up though, you can hold him for maybe 15 seconds but that’s about it! This handsome kitty is okay with being alone for a while! Give this baby lots of love and attention, he loves to play with toys, anything that keeps him active! Casper needs to be the only kitty in the home. You can find more photos on Instagram: @caspurrrreturns Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $225.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Casper, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
