Nala

My story

Nala is a 6 month old American Pit Bull puppy who had to be surrendered when their owner became sick, along with her brother Ziggy. Both are about 35 lbs and have been doing great at their new foster home, getting along great with the 2 house dogs. Has not been tested around cats, but probably best if they weren't in the house. Nala is a sweet calm soul, a total sweetheart who loves to cuddle up with her person on the couch or bed or wherever. She does great with car rides and is a pleasant dog to walk around the neighborhood and hasn't shown any dog reactivity. She has shown nice house manners and will listen well. Working on simple training commands, right now she knows to sit and lay down. She would love to have another dog as a playmate at her new home, but would also probably do well as the only dog in the house as long as she was with a person most of the time. She has been doing well with crate training but has a little separation anxiety if you leave the room for long periods, and is doing better every day. Nala is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
