My story

Meet Maya! After a while in her cocoon, Maya has officially entered her butterfly era! 🦋 She arrived at the shelter with skin and weight issues, but she's finally ready to find her forever home now that she's healthy and thriving. Maya is a perfect little lady with so much love to give! When she's not playing with her squeaky toys or going on walks, she loves to cuddle up right beside you. She is friendly and excited to meet all people of all ages, always ready to dole out kisses and snuggles. Her joy and warmth are infectious—you can expect to come home to her smiling face (yes, she really smiles!). In her foster home, Maya is gentle and respectful with the much smaller resident dogs. She’s house-trained, crate trained, easy on walks, and knows basic commands like "sit" and "shake." All around, Maya is a very well-behaved and incredibly sweet dog.
