My story

Meet Suzy Q, a gentle and sweet-natured soul who came into our care after her beloved human passed away. Initially, Suzy Q was thought to be just a bit overweight and low on energy. However, after some veterinary care, she was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. Now, with her daily medication, she’s feeling much better and ready to find her perfect forever home! Suzy Q is looking for a quiet, loving family—ideally a senior or a laid-back household. Suzy Q does well with dogs of all sizes but is not very interested in playing with them. She prefers spending most of her time with her humans. Suzy Q loves short walks and is a great companion for car rides.
