My story
Smidgen came to PAWS Atlanta from our partners at Rockdale County after a nearby bio-chem fire in 2024 required their animal control to close down. Despite all the change, she settled in quickly and has charmed our staff and volunteers. She needs a bit of direction and structure in her life, as she has a lot of energy and doesn't always know where to direct it. But it's all in good fun - she just wants to have a great time! Smidgen has done well with other dogs at the shelter, though she needs a friend who can be rough-and-tumble with her. She would love an active home with plenty of run-around time! She would love to play with kids, but very young children might be overwhelmed by her energy. If you're interested in having a good time, Smidgen is your girl!
