My story

I've had a rough start at life. I had to survive on the streets of Hollis, Queens, where I watched ALL of my siblings get hit and killed by cars.  That broke my heart!  I loved my family!  I would have been next but thankfully, I was rescued just in time.  Now I face the next challenge which is to get used to being  an indoor cat and living my life with humans!  It can be nice but also confusing and a little scary.  I kind of like being petted and offered food from your hand but I'm just not so sure about getting affection.  Sometimes that makes me nervous and I'll shy away.  I need a foster or adopter who will give me the time I need to trust and just enjoy love, instead of expecting the worst. I'm FIV positive, but I'm not aggressive, so I can be around other cats if they're friendly towards me too. Birth Date: 3/2/24 October 26, 2024, 9:15 am
