Handsome

My story

Handsome has had quite a rough few years. He had a very bonded brother, a orange brother, they were inseparable. They belonged to a man who was living here from Spain. After the pandemic, instead of returning them to me because he didn't keep up their shots, he couldn't take them to Spain, so he opened the door and just let them go. About a year later I got a cat from the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic who said someone had just brought in the brother, they knew it was him from the microchip number, registered to me. They called me and within a half hour I was on my way to pick him up. Once I got there, the office manager had GIVEN him to a client of theirs in the waiting room. She knew I was on my way. I asked for the information of the person they gave him to, she wouldn't give me the info. I reported the clinic to the police, they could not get the info either. One Oct 26th of this year, I got a call from a man in South Lyon who had found Handsome, the brother on his door step. He had been there for a week so he brought him in to the vet and found the chip number and they called me. Handsome was alone on the run since Jan of 2022 without his brother. He is a big beautiful and very affectionate boy. Thank God we got him back and he was safe. He's alone now and very loving and affectionate. He is enjoying being spoiled and loved on. He showed up in the middle of nowhere with miles of farm land all around. He's been through a lot, he's a big snuggly boy. We are looking for a home for him where he can be the spoiled boy he longs to be. He could be alright with a dog. We are looking for a non smoking home for him, a indoor only home.
