Ollie is a 4-year-old mixed breed (Boxer mix) with a heart full of love and a goofy, playful spirit. He has a moderate energy level – just the right mix of zoomies in the yard and cuddle sessions on the couch. Ollie loves going for walks, playing with toys, and getting belly rubs and brushings. He’s a total snuggle bug who’d love to sleep in bed with you (though he’s just as happy on a doggy bed nearby). Ollie is smart and eager to please – he already knows tricks like sit and shake! He does great in his crate or when left alone in a room, and always greets you with the happiest welcome when you get home. He enjoys being part of whatever’s going on and would thrive in a home where he can be included. He’s been around cats and does well after a gentle introduction – sometimes he even tries to play with them! When it comes to other dogs, Ollie prefers slow introductions and may do best as the only dog in the home for now. With the right training and care, he might be able to have a doggy friend someday. Ollie has done great with older children (ages 10+), including cozy couch snuggles, and would make a wonderful family companion. He does occasionally bark at passing dogs or cars, but his joyful spirit and loyalty outweigh his few quirks. Ollie does take a daily medication (Apoquel) for a skin condition called atopic dermatitis, and he responds really well to it. Regular vet visits and occasional baths help keep him comfortable and happy. If you’re looking for a goofy, loving, loyal pup who wants to be part of your everyday life, Ollie might just be your perfect match. He’s ready for a forever home where he can be loved and supported the way he truly deserves. Slow intros to new friends would be best for my new friends! I can come across a little eager and new friends may appreciate some time to get to know me!
