My story

Issue is such a pretty dog! We are blown away by her beauty! As a newcomer at the shelter, we are still getting to know her. She wanted us to pass along to you that she would really love for you to stop by and meet her! Came in as an owner surrender on 10/5/24. Surrender notes: landlord issues Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
