JAZZY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!   Come meet Jazzy and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (05/04) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Alexandria, VA (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!     Name:  Jazzy         Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Collie Beagle mix   Best Guess for Age:  2 years as of January 2025   Approximate Weight:   35 lbs Gets Along With:   Jazzy does well with other dogs, and has lived with cats in her foster home and done well. We haven't seen her with kids but are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Special Adoption Considerations: In certain home settings - where the environment might be louder or more intense - Jazzy would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence.  Currently Living at:  DC area foster home Jazzy is Looking For:  Her forever home! This happy young girl wants sniffy walks, romps in local parks, and all the adventures her family can dream up! Exploring all the toys also sounds great, as well as some delicious kibble and a cushy dog bed.   Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved and under her own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes, cuddles, and loyalty for all her days.  What do you say? Can you see her trotting by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:  Jazzy is a happy, loving and loyal companion. She happily tosses toys in the air and runs around the yard with them.  She loves her walks around the neighborhood and is not leash reactive. She did well with house breaking and is extremely food motivated. She's also a good listener, so she corrects easily.  She has been respectful of the more senior dogs in her two foster homes, and she has initiated play with younger canine visitors. She is a bit wary of strangers, but she will take treats from them and settle fairly quickly. She enjoys snuggling on the couch with her fosters and long belly rubs, and she expresses her gratitude with loving glances and frequent kisses.Jazzy shows her love with excited greetings after I come home, thumping tail wags, big toothy smiles, and gentle kisses. It's a joy to behold.' Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
