My story

Scout is a friendly 2-year-old boy who seems to enjoy the company of both humans and other dogs. From our volunteer observations, he appears to walk well on a leash and often responds to the `sit` command. Scout`s gentle nature shines through in playgroup, where he tends to approach other dogs with a wagging tail and shares polite greetings. While he may not always be food-motivated, Scout seems to relish scratches and pets from his human friends. Come meet Scout today!Scout is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Scout is showing kennel stress in the shelter and would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner.
