It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. LILY POTTER and her 3 siblings (BELLATRIX, JAMES POTTER and SIRIUS BLACK) were found in the back yard in San Jacinto, California. The owner of the home trapped mom, got her fixed and released her back into her back yard. Mama cat is very well taken care of. But the owner of the home needed help getting the kittens homes. So we agreed to help her if she fostered them until we could get them vetted and put at PETSMART. Now they are ready! Meet LILY POTTER, a delightful buff kitten from a loving home, whose laid-back demeanor makes her the perfect cuddle companion. With her soft, golden fur and bright, inquisitive eyes, she embodies sweetness and warmth. LILY POTTER is a gentle spirit who thrives on attention and affection, often following her favorite humans around like an endearing little duckling once she feels comfortable. This charming girl loves to indulge in playtime with her own toys, savoring moments of quiet joy away from her more boisterous siblings. While they may be a bit too rambunctious for her liking, LILY POTTER finds happiness in her own world, showcasing her playful side with delightful antics that are sure to bring a smile to your face. LILY POTTER is not just a pretty face; she has a nurturing side too! She has shared her space with cats, dogs, and small children, making her adaptable and ready to find her place in a new loving home. But she should be an only cat. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion for families looking for a gentle, affectionate kitty who can seamlessly blend into various living situations without another cat in the home. She needs to be the queen cat. One of her adorable quirks is her love for being carried around—like a little princess! She has been around cats, but we truly believe she will do best as an only cat. She has lived with children and a dog. LILY POTTER is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** MAY 2025: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in City of Industry, California off Colima Road in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. LILY POTTER is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
