My story

Daisy is a 1.5 year old female Shepherd mix, who is such a sweet girl! She has an adorable way of greeting new people while in her cage, where she tilts her head and body sideways, and then looks up at you for attention. It’s hard to resist! Once Daisy gets out for a walk, she becomes much more confident and ready to take on the next adventure with you! In fact, Daisy is so happy about getting out for a walk, she tends to pull on the leash so we have found that she is much better when a harness is used. Daisy seems ok with other dogs, and will often greet them in a submissive manner through the fence. On warms days, Daisy also enjoys taking a dip in the kiddie pool and will reward you with a joyful smile while posing in the water. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
