Butterball

My story

Butterball arrived in October and he’s been at our Bridge Facility for much too long. This friendly boy would love a home and family. Poor Butterball arrived with wounds on his neck from a much too tight chain and padlock collar, so his life before coming into our care wasn’t the best. He’s all healed up, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines and ready to go! Butterball is handsome lab mix is dog friendly and eager to make new friends. He is a typical labby boy, happy, loves to play with other dogs, and enjoys the company of the volunteers. His tail is always wagging and at times resembles a helicopter. Butterball has met lots of other dogs and is always welcoming to them. He walks very well on a leash and may have had some training. He’s smart, eager to learn and would make a great companion for an active person. One volunteer said “Butterball 💙 So much fun! He is a good times kind of boy. He’s happy, he’s active, his whole demeanor is very lively. Just seeing him makes me smile. He greets with a smile and just pulls you into a smile yourself.”
