*Meet Spike – A Brave Young Soul Ready for a New Beginning! Spike is a German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix with a heart full of hope and an incredible will to heal. Originally adopted from us as a puppy, Spike spent six months with a family before being returned in a neglected state. Despite the condition he arrived in, Spike has shown nothing but resilience, sweetness, and a desire to move forward. Since returning to us, Spike has been making amazing strides. He`s gaining weight, growing stronger every day, and letting his loving, playful personality shine through. He already knows how to sit, and he`s incredibly eager to learn more. Spike enjoys the company of other dogs and would do great in a home with canine companions. He adores people and would be a wonderful addition to a family with children—ideally ages six and up—just due to his size and energy. However, Spike is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must. True to his shepherd and Malinois mix, Spike is intelligent, loyal, and thrives with structure. He’s looking for a committed adopter who will give him the consistent love, training, and stability he deserves. After everything he’s endured, Spike is ready for a fresh start—and a forever home that will never let him down.
