Meet Whiskey — a sweet, smart, and playful pup ready to find his forever home!With the softest fur, the cutest little ears, and a heart full of love, Whiskey is impossible to resist. This medium-energy boy is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and snuggle companion. He thrives on outdoor fun — chasing his squeaky soccer ball, exploring the park or woods on a long line, and taking sniffy walks where he can put his nose to work. Enrichment games, snuffle mats, frozen Kongs, and chew toys are some of his favorite ways to stay busy, especially if his person is involved.Whiskey is incredibly smart and eager to learn. He knows all his basic commands like sit, paw, and come, and is currently working on down, stand, and drop (which he nails when treats are involved!). He’s also working on learning how to settle and build confidence, especially in noisy, busy environments.At home, Whiskey is a total love bug. He’s happiest when close to his person — chewing his toys in your lap, curling up beside you on the couch, or soaking up chest scratches (he’ll even pull your hand back if you stop!). He adores being pet and has the sweetest way of nudging you for more.Whiskey is potty-trained and heads right to his potty spot when it’s time. He’s working on his leash manners — while he may pull a little, he’s a manageable size and responds well to guidance. When his foster is at work, he settles in his gated area after a short cry and rests calmly until his people return.Whiskey would love a home with a fenced yard or a quieter neighborhood where he can continue building his confidence. He’d thrive with older kids or adults, as fast movements from younger children can sometimes be too much for him.
