My story

Hi, I’m Jasper — your future best friend and part-time comedian.I’m not saying I should be a model, but have you seen my face? I look like I walked right out of a commercial and into your heart. I’m a unique, spirited guy who’s looking for a home that understands me and respects my needs. I’d do best with adults (older kids might be okay) and people who can give me structure, training, and lots of love.I wasn’t well-socialized as a pup, but don’t let that fool you — I’m super smart and learn quickly. I already know commands in both English and Spanish, like “sit” (siéntate), “down,” “shake,” “catch,” “speak,” and even “fetch the ball” (busca la bota). Impressed? Wait until you see my zoomies — guaranteed to make you laugh.I love treats, ice cream, and hanging out with my people. In my previous home, I was housetrained, very friendly, and playful with my family. I do have some skin allergies in the summer (thanks, Central Texas sun), but with a little TLC, I stay looking and feeling my best.Thanks to my Adoption Angel at Presidio Custom Kennels, my adoption fee is already covered — all I need now is you.~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on “Foster Questionnaire.”Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours—giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We’ll see you soon at either location!
