My story

Meet Lydia! Lydia is a 1.5 year old Great Pyr mix. She was rescued from a terrible situation where she was a mere fraction of her size and equally terrified of humans. While we have no idea what Lydia has been through, she has not let it dull her shine. She loves playing with her toys, taking long naps on the couch, and having her beautiful locks brushed. She is a little nervous around new noises and still becomes spooked with quick movements but has made huge strides of coming out of her shell. She is very treat motivated. Lydia is a smart and sweet girl that would do well being the only dog in the house or with a calm gentle dog that can show her the ropes. She has come a long way and is looking for a safe place to call her own, she definitely deserves it! Name: Lydia Breed: Pyr Mix Sex: Female Age: 1.5 years (March 28, 2023) Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Vaccinations: Vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter. Heartworm: Negative Housetrained: Getting there. Microchipped: Yes! Adoption Fee/Donation: $400 Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
