Beanie and his siblings were found in someone's backyard when they were about 3 weeks old and brought into the shelter to get a chance at a better life. From there, the kittens went into a foster home, got a bath and some TLC and have been thriving ever since. Beanie is the biggest of all of his siblings, and never lets them forget it. He can sometimes be a little bit of a bully with the others, and likes to guard his food bowl from his siblings (he REALLY likes his food). When he's eating, he will push his siblings away from the bowl, and try to keep it all to himself. Beanie loves to play rough, and will tackle and tumble around with anyone who wants to play. While Beanie has a tendency to be a wild child, he also has the ability to be sweet and sensitive, and loves cuddling with his foster mom. He also is a bit of a loner, and is oftentimes seen hanging out by himself on the cat tree rather than joining in his sibling's mischief. While Beanie would definitely like to go home with one of his siblings, he might do best with an older cat companion that can teach him the ropes of how to be a cat, and put him in his place when he is being his little kitty jerk self. Beanie and his siblings are still very young and can easily adapt to a home with children, other cats, or dogs. Each one of them would do best being adopted with one of their siblings in a pair, or with another friendly cat in the home as kittens need companionship while growing up. If interested in Beanie or one of his siblings, please apply at acctphilly.org AND email lindsey@acctphilly.org with what kitten you are interested in.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Beanie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
