Rusty

My story

Meet Rusty! He loves to run around outside and would probably spend hours running around the backyard if I let him. He walks well on a leash and is very food motivated. He's crate trained and does utilize it as a safe place. He does resource guard but so far it's only been with food and that's been easily manageable by feeding separately in his kennel. Rusty does well with the dogs he's met so far and does best with a slow introduction. He can take a little bit to warm up to new people, but he will absolutely be your shadow once he's comfortable. He's a sweet old man and can occasionally be a little grumpy, but he loves to be held and cuddle on the couch. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
