My story

Deku is a bouncy, friendly, and very happy boy who is a shelter favorite- here’s what some of his friends have said:“Deku is a great dog! He sat patiently as I leashed him up and didn’t seem to care about the other dogs as we left the kennel. He is great on leash, walks at a good pace, and likes to sit for treats and pets. Overall, Deku is very friendly and easy going!”“Deku is friendly and very affectionate. Super easy to leash up and walk. He knows sit and takes treats very gently. In the yard he was happy to sniff all around. Overall, a very easy dog that would do well in any home.”During a weekend stay in a home, Deku was a very good boy- here’s what his short-term foster said:“I fostered Deku for the weekend. He is a gem. Very sweet and easy to handle and live with. He was so happy- he’s a good boy who deserves a home.”Deku is also a field trip favorite who has been all over town, does well in the car, and is ready to be your sidekick on any adventure! He shares his kennel politely and has been social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Deku today!
