At 8 years young, Dutch is a calm and loving soul who truly enjoys the simple pleasures in life. He had a fabulous day out being pampered and displayed impeccable behavior throughout! Dutch is the perfect companion, happily hanging out with his canine friends or soaking up the sun`s rays while enjoying cuddles from his human pals. Sadly, Dutch finds himself in the shelter for the second time. He was previously adopted but ended up back here as a stray, and through no fault of his own. He’s now patiently waiting for his forever home, where he can finally settle down and be the companion he was meant to be.Don’t just take our word for it—check out what his recent foster had to say about this incredible boy: Dutch is a big, lovable goof who pulls strongly on leash and needs a confident handler for walks. He’s curious about everything—smells, squirrels, leaves—and loves exploring. Despite his size, he doesn’t mind being picked up and was a champ during grooming, even lying down for the dryer. He adores enrichment puzzles, cuddles, and giving endless kisses—watch out for accidental headbutts from his giant, excited noggin! On trail walks, he was well-behaved and adds flair with a silly stomp-and-sweep dance when marking. He ignored the cats and was great with kids, soaking up all the attention.
