She`s incredibly smart, treat-motivated, and eager to please, which helps her pick up commands fast. She’s already a pro at sit, paw, down, touch, wait, and crate and she`s working on other fun commands including spin, sit pretty and roll over. If you`re looking to teach a pup increasingly creative commands, Femona is the dog for you. She loves learning new things and can’t wait to show off for you.She loves people and will happily be your little shadow around the house. She`s a great work from home buddy who is happy to snooze in the adorable `dingo donut` position that`s a Carolina Dog signature. When you`re ready to step away from your desk, she will dutifully accompany you on that journey. She prefers to be near her people, but she enjoys her crate and will quietly rest there for hours if you need to be away from the house.On walks, she`ll greet anyone who glances her way with tail wags. She`s learning to contain the enthusiasm to greet people calmly without jumping. She’s working on her loose leash walking skills — especially when she spots a squirrel or a few birds — but she`s doing better each day. At about 35 pounds, Femona is the perfect size — she isn’t a tiny pup who will trip you accidentally when underfoot, but she can’t drag you down the street either.Because of her prey drive, Femona`s probably not best suited for a home with a cat or other small animals. She’ll thrive with an active family who wants to teach her new things, accompany her on multiple walks each day, and play lots of her favorite game: TUG! Bonus points if you have a yard where she can enjoy the outdoors and birdwatch. Femona is smart as a whip and she`s ready for an action-packed life with you. Meet her soon!Femona is in a foster home.
