My story

Kahlua! Super cute and sweet! 5 years old. Housetrained and well mannered free roam in the home. Loves to play and cuddle. Enjoys walks. Smart and can open some gate latches/door handles. Likes male dogs. Needs child free home. Kahlua had spend 3 of her 4 years in one household when she was surrendered to us at the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center.  We are told she was becoming more protective of the father in the home and the child got in the way apparently.  So, Kahlua is looking for a new home without young children.  She is a great girl, friendly and good on the leash. She likes to go for walks and her easy going way makes exercise and time together enjoyable.  Kahlua's tan and white fur is healthy, shiny, clean. She trots around, curious as to everything new around her, the smells, the other dogs, the staff and volunteers.  Kahlua is house trained already. One less thing for a new family to worry about.  She is said to be good with male dogs.
