My story

FionaMy name is Fiona, and I`m a cat who knows how to take care of myself. You may have read about my sisters, brother, and me being surrendered to HSHC in late October 2024 because our owner was moving. I am 12-years-old. Like the others, I checked in with fleas and a nasty skin infection; my skin was bumpy and itchy. Recently, our owner adopted a new kitten and did not do a gradual introduction to us. In the only way I know, I told my owner I did not appreciate an additional cat added to the home. (I peed near the table where she feeds the kitten.) Thus, the reason I was surrendered. I have been staying in a two-room apartment and using the litterbox flawlessly. I am not a needy nugget; I can entertain myself or sit on your lap for a long time. My skin infection is now much improved! The interviewer lady (IL) has visited me several times, but today, I let her pet me all over; I rolled onto my back so she could scratch my chin. I love having my chin scratched! Oh, and I was purring the whole time. It is recommended that my new family do gradual introductions to any pets you already have. The stress I experienced in my former home made it impossible to thrive there. We will make the perfect match if you understand cats need routine, consistency, and a calm environment. 2-18-25
