My story

Arwen Undómiel was a character from J.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings novels and was famously portrayed by Liv Tyler in the early 2000s film franchise. Arwen is known for her beauty, wisdom and gentle compassion. We think that our girl Arwen is aptly named, as not only is she a dark beauty, but she has also probably seen a thing or two in her life which has earned her some wisdom. And if her gentle kisses say anything about her nature, we can imagine her as a pup who will bond deeply with an owner and give compassionate companionship in good times and bad. Arwen is a pup who has really come out of her shell in her time here in the shelter! She has learned that people are kind and can be trusted. Volunteers love spending time with her, saying the following:“Arwen was easy to leash up in her kennel and was friendly and easy to walk to the play yard. Once in the yard she ran around and played a little bit with her kennelmate and then solicited attention and affection from me. She came up to me with a friendly waggy tail and allowed lots of pets and cuddles. She is a dreamy, gentle girl and she soaked in all the love!”“Arwen is very smart and active and would benefit from a home where she can work or get a lot of activity.”“Arwen is so friendly and easy; I love seeing how well she’s doing and how far she’s come!” Arwen shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit.Arwen has valley fever and takes daily medication to help her feel her best. She’s looking for an understanding family who will give this middle-aged gal all of the love and TLC that she deserves! She promises that once she settles into her new home, she will give you all the love you deserve as well!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt ARWEN*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
