Gelato

My story

Gelato is just as sweet as his name indicates! This boy is cautious when getting to know new people but extremely lovable once he gets a few minutes with new people or other pets. He has to decide if he wants cuddles and pets or treats and food more at times because both equally make him over the moon excited! He comes running when a can cracks open and looks to his foster mom lovingly with excitement, soliciting pets while chowing down! His soft silky coat is just gorgeous yet he does not shed much! He will jump up and stand on his foster mom’s shoulders, jumps in her arms and also likes to follow her around her bedroom and bathroom including investigating shoes in the closet. Gelato is a fun boy and likes to watch the birds through the window flying outside and is friendly with the kitties he has met. He is not aggressive in his approach but a kind gentle and welcoming boy when he has new kitty meets. Gelato would be fine as a single cat as long as his owner was home most of the time for ongoing interaction. He also would get along well if a potential owner has kitties already and wants to add him to the mix. He can be quite the talker as well and does not like to be separated much from his kitty friends or family members. Gelato loves to scratch on his post and can get the zoomies so be on the lookout. Gelato is a great family/ companion cat and is interactive with a gentle spirit. He is a bit timid with dog barking but could live with a dog with boundaries respected.
