Bird (Alberto)

My story

Bird "the Turd" is a super handsome 2yo boy, searching for a "nest" to call home! He is such a sweet and goofy guy! He's also extremely entertaining! A little hard headed at times, but most teenagers are right?! Thankfully he is very smart and treat motivated! Bird thrives with a gentle voice and reassurance to build his confidence! He loves walks, window watching, toys, car rides, fetch, treats, snuggles and just letting loose and having a good time. He is sometimes wary of making new dog friends, but once he realizes they're ok, he's solid as a rock! He enjoys playful dogs, but also doesn't mind being your solo pup as long as you're home more often than not. Bird does good with cats that don't run and are cool with him being nearby, sniffing them and/or trying to encourage them to interact. He loves kids, but can be a bit clumsy and sometimes gets "rowdy" when overstimulated so older or experienced kids are best fitting for him. (no that doesn't mean he bites or becomes agressive in any way, he just gets super happy and doesn't realize what a big oaf he is!) He is crate and potty trained. He does well on a leash once you get going and have a routine. He also rides very well in your front seat! It takes Bird about two weeks to fully settle in to a new home and routine, so please keep that in mind if you're interested in bringing him into your home. Don't break his heart because you don't have the patience to let him settle in. He's a great guy, with a heart of gold and the best personality you'll ever see!
