My story

Hi, I'm PJ! Foster Mommy saved me from euthanasia at the Philly shelter, after my "family" abandoned me. Sadly, PJ's last "home" didn’t show him love or kindness. PJ has blossomed into a cat that ADORES affection and appreciates being part of a family. Part of his family is Gracie, his foster sister, a kitten that he helped nurture and take care of. They are the definition of "bonded"- they play, cuddle, groom one another, chase each other around the house, they’ll even cry out for each other when they are separated. They want to be adopted together. PJ is smart (he knows his name and can figure out treat puzzles!), great at communicating, loves head scratches and cheek rubs, has silky fur, loves rolling around on fuzzy blankets, obsessed with his cat tower for bird watching and cuddling Gracie. PJ shows you love by nuzzling, snuggling and purring up a storm. He wants to be near his people, cuddling next to your legs. You know he’s happy when he rolls around with his feet in the air and shows his belly! The cutest thing he does? PJ carries his blankie around in his mouth and he has a little song he “sings” during blankie time! PJ is the type of cat that wants to take his time to get to know you and build trust, but with patience, you will get the most loyal, loving, affectionate best friend you could ever ask for! PJ would do well with older kids that understand patience, how he likes to be pet, and a quieter home. No adult cats, but he loves kittens. He is litterbox and scratch pad trained.
