My story

Little is looking for a new home due to the ill health of her previous adopter.  If I had to describe Little in one word it would be "ridiculous".  She is the silliest, quirkiest little cat I've ever known.  When visitors come over she is invisible because she is firmly convinced they are out to get her (although if everyone is sitting fairly quietly for a while she might start peeking around the corner, or evern start walking by the visitors to seek out some attention--however if somebody stands up she's gone again). Little is a sweet and affectionate cat once she gets to know you.  She loves lap time and especially enjoys curling up and having her belly rubbed.  She still enjoys playing fetch with her favorite toys or just playing independently with them.  She has a bedtime routine of jumping up on a waist high catree in the bedroom and demanding to be beat on like a bongo drum.  She then rolls around and pretends to bite, purring happily all the while.  She has quite the mouth on her when she wants attention and will yell and paw at you to play fetch or get pets.  You're not even safe in the bathroom because while you are trapped on the toilet is a perfect time for you to play fetch so she will bring you a toy to throw for her.  For such a shy cat she can be quite bossy!! Favorite toys and cat tree can certainly accompany her if new adopter wishes.  She does have food allergies so is on a special prescription diet which previous adopter is willing to subsidize.  She's up to date on everything and had a recent annual exam including bloodwork which came back as normal in everything.  She's missing a few teeth from previous dental work but has no problem snarfing down dry food. Little has always lived with other cats but is not really bonded with any of them.  Perhaps because the other cats find her attempts to play all the time irritating.  She might do well with another cat that enjoyed playing--after a proper introduction.  Given Little's shyness with strangers I would prefer that she remains in Austin so that I can facilitate her transition to a new home. ##1962991##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Little, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
