Meet Gretchen — Your New Adventure Buddy! ??Gretchen is a 2-year-old, 45-pound bundle of joy with energy to spare and love to give! Since arriving at the shelter on 11/19/24, she’s been waiting patiently (and wagging enthusiastically) for the right family to find her.This happy, playful girl is always ready for her next adventure — whether it’s a run, hike, or a game of zoomies in the yard. Gretchen would thrive in an active home where she can stretch her legs and share her zest for life. She’s dog-friendly and enjoys a rough-and-tumble play style, making her a great match for a playful pup friend who can keep up.Affectionate to her core, Gretchen is basically a living hug machine. She leans in for pets, nuzzles for attention, and takes treats oh-so-gently. While she’s not a fan of water (don’t expect her to join you in the pool), she’ll happily tag along on dry land adventures and would love to be your running or hiking buddy.Gretchen is still perfecting her leash manners — all that excitement makes it tough not to pull! But she’s eager to learn, especially when treats are involved.
