My story

Hello! My name is Black Beauty, I am a 3 year old, spayed female, medium-haired black cat. I was relinquished to MaxFund November 2024 by no fault of my own, and now I am looking for my fur-ever home!I am very scared and nervous, I have not yet learned that people are nice and I might hiss at you. I need someone who will be patient with me and give me the time and space I need to feel comfortable and come out of my shell. If you do come to meet me, please go slowly and be gentle, let me approach you. I may open up more over time, once I get used to the shelter environment.I haven`t met any dogs or kids, and I am not sure how I feel about other cats yet. If you have kids, you can bring them to meet me! If you have a dog, the shelter staff can test me with a MaxFund dog and see how I do.I am not medically cleared for adoption quite yet, but you can still come meet me! If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please come to the shelter to meet me!The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 - 4:30, Closed 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.
