My story

Mary Ann is a 2.5 year old, 50-pound Pit Bull Terrier who is available for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR), Fort Lauderdale’s only no-kill animal shelter. Mary Ann loves to give hugs! She is shy at first, but with a few treats, she will soon be laying her head in your lap. Mary Ann was just crowned Miss Canine of APR by the local beauty pageant celebrity named Tiffany Coquis whose title is Miss Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Mary Ann also looks like she could be a twin of the famous rescue dog named Miss Peaches. She doesn’t let all this stardom go to her head as all she really wants is a home to call her own. Mary Ann is potty trained and a nice balance of playful and chill plus she walks great on a leash. She is friendly with other dogs on walks, but would enjoy having all the attention to herself in a home. May Ann is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and a healthy, happy girl.
