My story

There is nothing on earth Roxy would rather do than be with her people, getting affection and pets and maybe some scratches behind her ears. She didn’t have a very good life before being rescued, and now she longs for a loving person or family to call her own. Roxy is a shepherd mix, about three to four years old, and 60 pounds, give or take a few. She has the softest, most beautiful fur, which she doesn’t mind getting wet during the summer if you have a baby pool out for her. Because Roxy loves playing in water and isn’t a fussy girl. She'll lean into you for pets and be soft and silly and sweet. Roxy also happens to be one of the best cuddlers out there. She’d like a fenced yard where she can play fetch with her ball, but might not always drop it when she brings it back. Roxy adores car rides and would love to be your loyal companion on adventures. While she’s nervous around other dogs, it’s possible for her to make a special doggo friend with time and patience.
