My story

Hi, I’m Boogie—president of the Chonky Big Head Dog Club and full-time sweetie pie.I’m about 60 pounds of teddy bear energy, with a heart as big as my noggin. I’m 3.5 years old, and I’ve perfected the art of playtime and snuggles. I’ll happily chase a tennis ball or a stuffy, but let’s be honest—if you’ve got treats, I’m dropping everything. Literally. Even my most prized toy gets traded for a tasty morsel!Volunteers call me a big lug and a total cuddlebug. I love car rides, park trips, and brushing sessions, especially if they end with ear scritches and belly rubs. I’ve been told I might be Elmer Fudd in disguise because I take bunny patrols very seriously—wascally wabbits, beware!I’m strong, silly, and just the right mix of goofy and sweet. Whether we’re people-watching at the park or chilling at home, I’m happiest when I’m with my favorite humans… and maybe asking for treats in the most adorably impolite way possible.Think we could be a match? Come meet me—I’ll be the one with the giant head and the goofy grin.~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events).
