My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue GRACEFUL LOVEBUG Meow! My name is Mystique, and my estimated date of birth is June 2, 2023. True to my name, I carry a quiet charm that draws people in—but once you meet me, there’s no mystery about it: I’m affectionate, social, and full of love. I’m the kind of kitty who will gently brush against your legs to say hello, then hop right into your lap as if I’ve known you forever. If another cat is vying for your attention, I do my best to wait my turn—but don’t be surprised if I sneak up close to your face to remind you that I’m your number one fan! I absolutely thrive on affection and connection. When I’m not soaking up pets or climbing into your arms, you’ll find me sunbathing on a windowsill, perched calmly on a cat tree, or enjoying my favorite daily ritual—wet food time! I’m gentle, respectful, and easygoing, both with people and fellow feline friends. I’m not high-energy, but I do have playful moments—I’ll bat toys around with quiet delight or proudly carry them in my mouth like a prize. Because I’m a little sensitive to loud noises and sudden movement, I’d feel most at ease in a peaceful home with a predictable routine. I get along beautifully with other cats and would do well with older, respectful children who understand my gentle nature. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
