My story

Hi there, my name is Champ! I'm a handsome, big-hearted Foxhound looking for my forever home. At 76 pounds, I could use a little help slimming down, so I’m looking for a family who can support me on my weight-loss journey with some gentle exercise and a healthy diet. I’m almost 6 years old, and while I still enjoy a good stroll, I’m mostly looking for a comfy couch to lounge on and a loving human to keep me company. Like any true hound, I’ve got a voice and I’m not afraid to use it! I love to “talk” and will happily tell you all about my day while we relax together. I can also be a bit prey-driven, so a home without cats would be best for me. If you’re looking for a laid-back, chatty, and lovable companion who enjoys the simple things in life—a cozy nap, a slow walk, and some good company—I just might be your perfect match.
