My story

Hi there. I’m Moose, and I want to be your friend! Can I follow you around? Sit beside you? Lay on you? I'll be the perfect dog for you. Well, unless there is food nearby. That may distract me just a bit. But otherwise, I’m all yours. Foster mom thinks I’m a lab/husky/something mix, but would love to see what a DNA test says. My fur is as soft as silk and I've got a cute, jaunty curl in my tail that won't stop wagging! They say I was born in April, so I’m still a puppy. I’m goofy, playful, and mischievous--but I’m not destructive. I might sneak into the trash can if I can, or counter surf. Like I said, food gets me every time. I'll be forever grateful if you can teach me how to grow into a good boy and your best friend! Do you want to meet me? And maybe adopt me? I love making new friends, both human and canine, and I'm always up for a game of fetch or an adventurous hike. I’ll be your bestest boy ever! Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center. We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application. Thanks for thinking adoption!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Moose, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
