Bolt is a friendly young tabby boy (born approximately 10/17/23). He had a rough start in life after being abandoned and left outside to fend for himself after his original family was evicted. Fortunately he was rescued by a kind man who understood outdoor living was not what this sweet boy deserved and brought him inside where he has been ever since. The kids in his original neighborhood chose the name Bolt for him because he would run around frequently and was friendly with the kids. Bolt needs to be adopted with his best friend, Chomp, who you will also find on our Petfinder page. They cuddle, play and groom each other and became fast friends very quickly when they met and we believe they will do best in a new home together. Bolt’s favorite play times are those with Chomp or with his human family member. He also really enjoys chasing ping pong balls. He is very good about being picked up which isn’t always that common for cats. He likes to lay close to his person and would sleep with them if allowed but he might attack your feet in a playful way. He is a bit of a lounge cat. When he wants attention he will make it known with chirps. When given the opportunity he will nap by your side and while he enjoys someone to play with, he is capable of entertaining himself. He will start out cautious but once he knows he can trust you, he is very friendly and welcomes company. The first time his rescuer fed him, he immediately opened up to him so it seems like food is a good way to his heart. Bolt has a lot of great years ahead of him. Can you make room for these two sweet young boys in your heart and home?
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bolt, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
