My story

Hi! I’m Ruby, a two-year-old pup with a lot of love to give. I just finished a six week board-and-train course, and my trainer wanted to keep me, but he has too many dogs. He tells me I am his favorite! Please consider me -- I have an excellent foundation in obedience work. I started out as an emotional support dog for an elderly lady who has since passed away. I had a great life with doggy play dates, a fresh food diet, and 24/7 attention. My DNA test says I'm 51% Mini Australian Shepherd and part Pitbull. I'm like an over-sized Jack Russell -- and like a Jack Russell, I do have a prey drive, so I need a home with no small animals, including small dogs. I only weigh 30 lbs. so I'm pocket-sized. I play very well with big dogs, and I love to do zoomies, so a fenced in yard would be ideal, but not a requirement. I just want a good home.
